Ingredients:
- 300gms paneer (cubed)
- 1 cup green peas (frozen or fresh)
- 3 tablespoons ghee
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 5-6 cashew nuts(powder)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons fresh cream
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add tomato puree, cashew nuts(powder) and cook until the oil separates.
- Add green peas and paneer cubes. Mix well.
- Add water and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat, cover the pan and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Once the peas are cooked, add fresh cream and mix well. Let it cook for another minute.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
